Saw this last night and even got to have a brief conversation with the writer-director, Rian Johnson. Wonderfully stylized adventure/comedy/romance/heist movie that stars Rachel Weisz, Adrien Brody, Mark Ruffalo, and Rinko Kikuchi.

Star Trek

Did the plot make a lot of sense? Well, no, and it makes less sense the more you think about it. Did it have a Smurfette character? Yes. Does she get to do much? Of course not--she's Smurfette! Was it fast-moving and shiny and filled with explosions? Yes. Would I cheerfully pay to see it again? Sure.
